VP Commends Yoduo Award Winners, Aims for High-Quality Childcare Environment

Vice President Hsiao Bi-khim received the winners of the 33rd Yoduo Awards, stating that declining birthrates are a major challenge for Taiwan. She highlighted President Lai Ching-te's '0-6 Years Old National Support 2.0' policy, which aims to provide affordable and quality childcare. The government is stabilizing the lives of childcare professionals through salary increases and subsidies, including a monthly allowance of NT$4,000 and increased teaching fees to NT$3,000. She expressed gratitude to the winners and the Association for Chinese Early Childhood Education for their dedication over 33 years.
