Chun Shin Ltd., the general agent for the TOEFL ITP test in Taiwan, issued a press release today pointing out that the "TOEFL ITP Test - Higher Education Academic Research Scholarship Program" has entered its third year. The target audience is students currently residing in Taiwan and enrolled in domestic colleges and universities; international students can also apply. In the past, students from Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam have received the grant.

There is a total quota of 40 for this year's scholarship, of which 30 are in the "Research Project Group." Applicants must have passed the college student research project of the National Science and Technology Council, and each recipient will be awarded NT$10,000.

The "International Publication Group" has 10 quotas. Applicants must publish a paper in an overseas international journal or international seminar as the "first author," and the award amount is NT$12,000.

Eligible candidates must obtain a valid TOEFL ITP test score and submit their applications by October 8.
