The Pingtung County Government's Labor and Youth Development Department announced today that the "Young Farmers Combat Readiness Talent Cultivation Program" will hold a recruitment briefing on the 19th at the Pingtung Smart Agriculture School. The program, which has been deeply cultivated for four years, aims to encourage youth aged 18 to 45 to engage in agricultural innovation, return to their hometowns, or stay in their hometowns for development. This year's theme is "Young Farmers on Stage, Blooming Instantly," focusing on six core aspects: smart agriculture, agricultural machinery technology, innovative marketing, packaging design, agri-tourism experience, and market channels. It will invite industry mentors with practical experience to plan 30 systematic courses, including lectures, workshops, and study tours. The program also introduces a one-on-one consultation mechanism with local experts and connects with the Ministry of Labor's entrepreneurial loan resources to assist participants with agricultural business or entrepreneurial ideas. "Dalu Fale Cacao Workshop," a participant in 2024, recently won a bronze medal at the "2026 Asia-Pacific Bean-to-Bar and Craft Chocolatier Competition" for its 95% dark chocolate.
