May Taiwan Stock Index Futures Rise by 660 Points

Central News Agency (CNA), Taipei, April 16th. The Taiwan Stock Exchange closed today with a gain of 409.88 points, ending at 37132.02 points. The May Taiwan stock index futures closed at 37645 points, up 660 points, with a positive spread of 512.98 points compared to the spot market.

The Taiwan Futures Exchange set the opening reference prices for the next two months' index futures contracts at 36985 points for May futures and 37076 points for June futures.

The Taiwan stock market's closing price today was 37132.02 points, up 409.88 points, with a transaction value of NT$886.792 billion.

May Taiwan stock index futures closed at 37645 points, up 660 points, with 56,392 contracts traded. June futures closed at 37744 points, up 668 points, with 444 contracts traded. The actual closing prices are subject to announcement by the Taiwan Futures Exchange. 1150416
