Penghu Deputy County Magistrate Lin Chieh-hsing expressed congratulations on behalf of the county government today, affirming Yan Zhi-wei's excellent performance in artistic creation and praising her for letting the world see Penghu through her paintings. He specially thanked Principal Lin Yen-ling and Director Hsu Yu-hsuan for their dedicated guidance and companionship, allowing students to continuously improve in their interests and broaden their international horizons, hoping they will continue to shine and win glory for Penghu in the future.

Lin Chieh-hsing stated that Penghu is surrounded by the sea and makes the sea its home. Yan Zhi-wei depicted fishing village life with delicate brushstrokes, vividly presenting the scenes of organizing fishing nets under the scorching sun, drying squids, and the hard work of fishermen going out to sea. This not only truly reflects the lifestyle of Penghu fishermen but also demonstrates the Penghu people's "three drops of water" spirit of enduring hardships and battling wind and waves, holding profound cultural meaning and educational value.

Lin Chieh-hsing pointed out that the competition was fierce, and it was not easy for Yan to stand out. In addition to showcasing her personal artistic talent and long-term hard work, it also embodies her deep affection for her hometown.

The Penghu County Government stated that Fenggui Elementary School has long promoted marine education, encouraging students to explore the ocean and local culture through diverse courses and outdoor teaching. This includes holding underwater graduation ceremonies, coral planting and intertidal zone surveys, traditional beach seining (Qiangu), stone weir fishing method experiences, beach cleanups, and fish-eating education courses.
