Taipei, April 16 (CNA) Eastern Group announced today that its global operations headquarters, built with an investment of over NT$14 billion, is located in Linkou and is expected to be completed in December. The "450 Taiwan Eye" observatory on the 38th floor will add another talking point to the development of Northern Taiwan's landmarks. The building plans to introduce Silks Hotel, and a performance hall capable of accommodating 3,000 people is expected to open in 2027.

Eastern Group issued a press release today announcing that its global operations headquarters, Grace Tower, built with an investment of over NT$14 billion, is located in Linkou and stands 199 meters tall, with completion expected in December this year.

Eastern Group first publicly announced the overall plan, including the "450 Taiwan Eye" observatory on the 38th floor, from which one can overlook Greater Taipei from high altitudes, adding another talking point to the development of Northern Taiwan's landmarks.

Eastern Group stated that the observatory is named "450 Taiwan Eye" not referring to the building's height, but rather a concept of vision; as Linkou itself is a plateau of about 250 meters, plus the building's height, it is expected to overlook the Taipei Basin and Tamsui River estuary in the future.

From a regional perspective, Eastern Group stated that choosing Linkou for its global operations headquarters has strategic considerations. Linkou is located in the Airport MRT A9 station living circle, allowing quick connection between downtown Taipei and Taoyuan International Airport, and is close to national highway interchanges, offering advantages for both business travel and regional connectivity. Compared to central Taipei, it has more complete development space and planning flexibility, which is beneficial for the development of large-scale mixed-use venues.

Eastern Group stated that the building will integrate observation decks, dining spaces, international conference centers, fitness facilities, and member services, and plans to introduce Silks Hotel and Regent International Hotels Group's dining brands. In addition, the park also plans to open a performance hall capable of accommodating 3,000 people in 2027, further expanding business, cultural, and large-scale event capacities.
