The Chinese Embassy in Japan held a press conference today to announce that the embassy received two threats in March, including a threatening letter and an online bomb threat.

According to Kyodo News, the Chinese Embassy in Japan stated that on March 5th, it received a threatening letter signed by an "Elite Force" composed of former police officers and Self-Defense Force personnel, containing phrases such as "attack the embassy" and "kill all Chinese people." On March 31st, through social media, it received a "bombing notice" from someone claiming to be related to the Self-Defense Forces.

The embassy stated that both incidents were immediately reported to the police. Chinese Chargé d'affaires in Japan, Shi Yong, expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of progress in the investigation and requested Japan to "provide a responsible explanation and take effective measures to thoroughly prevent similar incidents from happening again."
