The Kuomintang (KMT) and Taiwan People's Party (TPP) today announced the results of their Chiayi City mayoral nomination poll, with former TPP legislator Chang Chi-kai emerging victorious. Wu Tsung-hsien's campaign office spokesperson Cheng Hao-wen stated through text that Wu Tsung-hsien extends his sincere congratulations to Chang Chi-kai. Chang Chi-kai received much support from KMT public representatives and grassroots citizens in Chiayi, which is a concrete realization of 'KMT-TPP co-prosperity and safeguarding local interests.'
