The Dajia Zhenlan Temple Mazu Pilgrimage is scheduled to depart at 10:05 PM on April 17, 2026. The pilgrimage procession is expected to enter Changhua City via Dadukou Bridge in the afternoon of April 18, and proceed into Southern Changhua along Provincial Highway 1 in the early morning of April 19, passing through Dacun Township, Yuanlin City, and Yongjing Township. Yongjing Township Mayor Wei Shuo-wei announced that the township office will distribute 'ya jiao jin' (blessing money) in front of the office during Mazu's return journey. The procession will pass through seven temples in the township: Ganshu Temple, Qingfu Temple, Yong'an Temple, Yongfu Temple, Shouxi Hall, Futian Temple, and Tiansheng Temple. Residents will spontaneously set up snack and vegetarian meal stations along the route, and many local businesses will join as volunteers to welcome pilgrims. The Ting Hsin and Wei-Ho Educational Foundation stated that to welcome this grand event, they have partnered with Yongjing Township's Yongbei Community Development Association, Chenmei Cultural Park, and Yongjing Township Gonghao Association to establish eco-friendly pilgrim service centers. These centers, located at Ting Hsin Building and Yongjing Tzu Chi Environmental Station, provide services including blessing beds, vegetarian meals, showers, and charging and resting areas, encouraging the public to reduce the use of single-use items and practice low-carbon actions. Additionally, Chenmei Cultural Park, located in Yongjing Township, is offering a special pilgrim discount: from April 17 to 30, 2026, pilgrims wearing any temple hat or carrying a flag can enjoy half-price admission at NT$150.
