(CNA Tripoli, 18th, Comprehensive Foreign Dispatch) Medical authorities in the Libyan capital, Tripoli, pointed out today that at least 17 bodies, suspected to be migrants, were recently found in a coastal area near a town in the western part of the country.
Reuters reported that the Libyan Emergency Medicine and Support Center stated these bodies were located in the coastal area of Zuwara, about 117 kilometers west of the capital.
The Emergency Medicine and Support Center mentioned that according to relevant regulations, 14 bodies have been buried, and one body of a Bangladeshi citizen has been identified and claimed by family members. Details regarding the other two bodies have not been released.
Photos posted on Facebook by the Emergency Medicine and Support Center showed medical personnel placing the bodies into white body bags and loading them into ambulances.
