Taipei Tech issued a press release pointing out that the "AI Communication Management System and AI Computing Center Preparation Fund Donation Ceremony" was held today. Chang Sun-tui, Chairman of Shangjin Investment Co., Ltd., donated the AI communication management system worth 12 million NTD and provided 500,000 NTD as a preparation fund for establishing the AI computing center.
Taipei Tech President Ren Yi-jun stated that facing the rapid development of generative AI, Taipei Tech has developed the "Chat Taipei Tech AI Application Platform." In teaching, it introduces AI teaching assistants and smart learning systems; in research, it develops autonomous models and high-performance computing environments; in university services, it introduces AI to optimize administrative processes; through industry-academia collaboration, it assists enterprises in AI adoption and talent training, promoting industrial upgrades.
Ren Yi-jun mentioned that the "Chat Taipei Tech AI Application Platform" was independently developed and built by Taipei Tech, combining the school's existing foundation in smart manufacturing, IoT, cloud computing, and data analysis to construct a complete AI development blueprint. It is not only the first of its kind in the nation but also symbolizes Taipei Tech's transition from an AI user to an AI builder and practitioner.
