Taipei Metro explained that preliminary judgment points to a door sensor circuit abnormality on this train; it has been sent back to the depot for inspection and repair, and operations are currently normal.

Some netizens posted on the social platform Threads today, stating that while taking the Taipei Metro, the train stopped between Wanfang Hospital Station and the broadcast said it was due to a train abnormality. It resumed operation after about 6 minutes, and upon arriving at Zhongxiao Fuxing Station, they saw massive crowds. Another netizen reported that the platform at Nanjing Fuxing Station was crowded, and the broadcast announced an adjustment of train intervals due to a train abnormality, resulting in them waiting for 5 trains before finally being able to board.

Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation explained that a train bound for Nangang Exhibition Center had a door abnormality alarm at Muzha Station at 8:03 AM today. Personnel were immediately dispatched to board the train to handle the situation according to standard operating procedures. At the same time, about 50 passengers on board were asked to transfer to the next train. The subsequent train entered the station to pick up passengers 1 minute later.
