The weighted index opened at 36369.11 points, reaching an intraday high of 37064.16 points and a low of 36369.11 points. The index excluding financial stocks was 33045.73 points, up 403.04 points.
Performance of the eight major sectors: cement and ceramics fell 0.46%, food rose 0.28%, plastics dropped 1.28%, textiles decreased 0.33%, machinery and electronics gained 1.42%, paper increased 0.16%, construction was up 0.59%, and financials gained 0.45%.
Buy orders stood at 26,123,151 lots, while sell orders were 17,883,731 lots. The executed volume was 13,804,616 lots.
