The Third Precinct of the Keelung City Police Bureau received a report relayed by the Fire Department at around 1 PM yesterday, indicating that a person was unconscious and suspected of being assaulted inside a residence on Mingde 2nd Road in the Qidu District. Police officers dispatched to the scene found the 24-year-old female severely injured. After emergency brain surgery, she was admitted to the intensive care unit and is currently intubated and comatose.
Preliminary police investigation indicates that the victim reportedly owed the 21-year-old male suspect over 200,000 NTD. In the early hours of the 10th, she was attacked with baseball bats and bare hands by several individuals inside a residence on Zhongshan Road in Sanxia District, New Taipei City. The male suspect brought her to the residence in Keelung's Qidu District early yesterday morning.
