Taiwanese Producer Chou You Attends 15th Anniversary Concert for Japan Earthquake

Taipei, April 14 (CNA) - Producer Chou You and her husband, director Lee Chao-Yung, recently traveled to Japan to attend the '15th Anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake' concert. The objective was to console people through music and promote Taiwan-Japan exchange. The concert featured performances by the Formosa Spring Breeze Foundation, led by chairman Chen Hsiu-li, violinist Su Shien-ta, and vocalists Hung Jui-hsia, Liu Neng-fang, and Shen Chun-ching. According to a statement, a moment of silence was held for the victims at the beginning of the concert. Chou You stated in a telephone interview that the music was intended to provide comfort and blessings.
