IU and Byun Woo-seok's New Drama "21st Century Grand Prince's Lady" Premieres on Disney+

The Central News Agency reported on April 13 that Korean stars IU and Byun Woo-seok are starring in the drama "21st Century Grand Prince's Lady," which features numerous romantic scenes. In the drama, IU's character, a chaebol CEO, aggressively pursues Byun Woo-seok's character, the arrogant "Grand Prince Ri-an," for a contract marriage to elevate her social status. Byun Woo-seok's character gradually succumbs to her charms. Byun Woo-seok commented on his character's feelings, saying he found IU's character cute, and jokingly admitted, "As everyone knows, once you find someone cute, you're done for," unexpectedly revealing his personal views on relationships. IU, through a press release, expressed her fondness for her character's "direct and fearless" personality, which contrasts with her own thoughtful nature. She put significant effort into her vocal expressions, noting, "Some lines needed to convey dominance, while others required a playful teasing tone, which was very interesting for me." The drama is available on Disney+, with new episodes released every Friday and Saturday at 10 PM.
