(CNA Reporter Su Muchen, Taichung, 14th) The Baishatun Mazu of Gongtian Temple in Tongxiao, Miaoli, is making its walking pilgrimage to Chaotian Temple in Beigang. Today, it passed through Taichung's Qingshui and Dadu districts, entering Changhua County near noon. Taichung police deployed a "Drone Police Team" to patrol, establishing an integrated "air-ground" safety net.

The Baishatun Mazu palanquin from Gongtian Temple is known as the "Pink Supercar." This year, the "Luzhu Mazu" joined the procession, meaning the palanquin houses three Mazu deities: the main Gongtian Temple Mazu, the Luzhu Mazu, and the Shanbian Mazu.

Yesterday afternoon, the Mazu palanquin rested at Liyi Company in Taichung's Qingshui District. It departed at 2:00 AM today, entering the Dadu District and other areas around 5:00 AM, drawing crowds of followers along the route. The palanquin entered Changhua County approaching noon.

The Wuri Precinct of the Taichung City Police Bureau reported that the number of registered pilgrims ("Xiangdeng Jiao") exceeded 460,000 this year. To ensure a smooth route for the procession and the safety of the public, police dispatched a "Drone Police Team" to conduct aerial patrols.

Police stated that through the high-altitude perspective, they can monitor the dynamics of people and vehicles around the clock. If the command center spots road congestion or sudden incidents, they can immediately dispatch ground forces to guide the crowd, constructing an "air-ground" safety net to ensure no blind spots in security.
