Sigurd's first-quarter consolidated revenue reached NT$5.293 billion, a year-on-year increase of 13%. The first-quarter revenue continued to set a new historical record for a single quarter.

Sigurd stated that after the Lunar New Year holiday effect in February, customer shipments returned to normal, with strong production across multiple product lines. To meet the substantial growth in demand for chips in high-performance computing (HPC), artificial intelligence (AI) servers, application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs), silicon photonics, and networking from domestic and international customers, Sigurd has already utilized most of its factory and equipment capital expenditure budget for the first quarter. In response to the continued demand for advanced process chips in the future, an increase in capital expenditure will be considered in the second quarter.

Analysts predict that King Yuan Electronics' revenue share from AI testing could exceed 30% this year, continuing to benefit from the product testing momentum of its main customer's high-end AI chip platforms, as well as the demand for burn-in testing of ASICs. King Yuan Electronics is expected to expand its production capacity by 30% to 50% this year.

Testing interface manufacturer Ennostar reported self-assessed March revenue of NT$1.222 billion, a month-on-month increase of 40% and a year-on-year increase of 69.25%, setting a new single-month record. Accumulated first-quarter revenue reached approximately NT$2.98 billion, a year-on-year increase of 29.74%, also setting a new quarterly record.

Ennostar explained that the explosion of AI application orders has led to strong demand for high-end coaxial sockets and MEMS probe cards. March revenue surpassed the NT$1 billion mark for the first time.

Looking ahead to the second quarter, Ennostar indicated that with continued order increases and new capacity coming online, revenue is expected to grow quarter by quarter.

To address the tight supply and demand for production capacity, Ennostar began purchasing additional machinery and expanding capacity in its existing factories in the fourth quarter of last year. Furthermore, it leased factory space in the Kaohsiung Renwu Industrial Park for restructuring and construction, which was completed at the end of March and began mass production in April.

Ennostar stated that its self-built expansion plan in the Kaohsiung Renwu Industrial Park has already been approved by the Kaohsiung City Government, with construction expected to commence in July to accelerate development.

IC test substrate manufacturer Unizon reported self-assessed March revenue of NT$220 million, a year-on-year increase of 45.3%, second only to February's NT$224 million, setting a new single-month record. Accumulated first-quarter revenue was approximately NT$665 million, a year-on-year increase of 46.3%, setting a new quarterly record.

Unizon previously stated that AI applications are driving strong demand not only for main chips like processors (CPUs) and graphics processing units (GPUs) but also for peripheral high-speed transmission chips and other applications. Unizon continues to penetrate the AI application domain.

Looking ahead to future operations, Unizon expects that front-end test substrate performance will continue to grow this year, and overall performance for the year is expected to grow by double-digit percentages. (Editor: Yang Lanxuan) 1150407
