Acer Group's smart home appliance brand, Acerpure, officially listed on the over-the-counter (OTC) market today at an underwriting price of NT$31 per share. During intraday trading, the stock price reached a high of NT$39, representing a surge of 25.8%. Acerpure stated that future operations will focus on the demographic dividend growth engines of emerging markets, driving brand value and deepening its global footprint.

With "Acerpure" as its core brand, the company is expanding from small appliances into the large appliance market, offering one-stop services covering hardware, cloud data, and after-sales consumable services. In addition to air purifiers, water purifiers, and cleaning appliances, it sees home air conditioning as a crucial engine to boost scale and gross margins, accelerating the deployment of split, window, and portable air conditioners, paired with items like smart TVs.

Acerpure explained in a press release that regarding its global layout, it targets the Southeast Asian and "Double-Indo" (India and Indonesia) markets, which boast strong economic momentum and abundant demographic dividends. The Indian market is benefiting from a youthful population and an expanding middle class, with air conditioner penetration at the early stages of takeoff. Acerpure has already completed the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification and strengthened local supply chain integration.

With Indonesia being the largest appliance market in Southeast Asia, Acerpure will combine local e-commerce with physical retail channels, targeting replacement demand driven by high-temperature and highly polluted environments to promote its air conditioners. Acerpure stated that it also plans to advance this model into the Philippines and Thailand in the future, turning emerging markets into core battlegrounds for revenue expansion.
