Taoyuan Bade Sewage Pipeline Project Hits Gas Line, Leak Contained

(CNA, reporter Ye Zhen, Taoyuan, July 4) At the intersection of Heping Road and Dazhong Street in Bade District, Taoyuan City, a sewage pipeline construction project accidentally ruptured a natural gas pipeline this morning, causing a gas leak. Firefighters quickly set up a water curtain for protection while on standby, and Shin Tao Gas Company has now completed the leak sealing operation.

Around 11 a.m. today, during excavation work at the intersection of Heping Road and Dazhong Street in Bade District, the contractor for the Taoyuan City Government's sewage pipeline BOT project, Jinding Company, accidentally ruptured a natural gas pipeline. Upon receiving the report, firefighters rushed to the scene and used a water curtain for protection. Shin Tao Gas Company also arrived and completed the leak sealing operation.
