(Central News Agency, reporter Zhao Jingyu, Taipei, July 3rd) Since the launch of the 2026 Cultural Vouchers on January 1st, the cumulative consumption has reached 1.11 billion yuan. The Ministry of Culture announced today that the third quarter Cultural Vouchers ambassador will be "Chiu Chiu Mei," inviting young people to visit cultural venues such as museums during the summer vacation to experience the fun of exhibitions.

The Ministry of Culture stated in a press release today that over 1.37 million people received Cultural Vouchers in the first half of this year, with a redemption rate exceeding 67.50%. In addition to the regular issuance of 1,200 points of Cultural Vouchers to each person aged 13 to 22, this year's Cultural Vouchers continue to encourage young people to explore diverse cultures through gamified APP mechanisms, seasonal ambassadors, and themed missions, while also supporting the development of Taiwan's arts and cultural industries.

The first quarter was accompanied by "Huang Ama's Harem Life" for young people to watch domestic films in cinemas; the second quarter focused on performing arts, with "Underground Organization" leading young people into theaters to watch performances. Entering the third quarter, the Cultural Vouchers ambassador "Chiu Chiu Mei" transforms into the captain of the cultural exploration team, inviting everyone to embark on missions by visiting museums, local cultural centers, heritage sites, and various art and cultural spaces during the summer vacation.

The Ministry of Culture stated that museums and cultural venues across Taiwan will also launch various activities during the summer vacation. For example, the National Palace Museum will launch "National Palace Museum AR Guided Tour," bringing the museum's artifacts to life; the National Center for Traditional Arts will launch the "Traditional Arts Mission Series," allowing young people to experience traditional arts and culture through hands-on activities such as costume changes and the awakening of weaving spirits; the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute will offer handicraft experiences, allowing participants to feel the beauty of craftsmanship through their own creations.

The Ministry of Culture stated that the third quarter ambassador "Chiu Chiu Mei" has officially launched on the Cultural Vouchers APP. Young friends are welcome to follow Chiu Chiu Mei to various cultural and artistic venues, challenge summer cultural missions, collect limited edition badges, and have a chance to win limited IP co-branded merchandise.
