Chen Su-yue Releases Campaign Song, Hopes to Unite Changhua for a Better Future

(CNA reporter Cheng Wei-chen Changhua, July 2nd) Democratic Progressive Party Changhua County Magistrate candidate Chen Su-yue announced her campaign song "This is Our Changhua" today, stating that the song is not just a campaign tune but also represents her deep affection for the land cultivated from the grassroots. She hopes to unite Changhua through music and build a better future.

Chen Su-yue released the campaign song at her campaign headquarters today. Former DPP legislator Lu Sun-ling, song creator Chiu Hui-chih, Changhua County Sisterhood Association President Huang Shu-chuan, and several Changhua County council candidates attended to show their support. Everyone sang together, creating a lively atmosphere.

Chiu Hui-chih said that the campaign song's creative core is Changhua's over 300 years of humanistic history and land sentiment, singing about Changhua's cultural depth, urban warmth, and future vision. The song opens with "The wind blows gently from Bagua Mountain," using the imagery of "the wind has risen" to metaphorically suggest that Chen Su-yue will lead Changhua to a new turning point. Through a narrative progression from one person to a group, and from walking together to moving forward together, it depicts the spirit of Changhua people advancing hand in hand.

Chen Su-yue said that elections are never a one-person endeavor but the result of many people's joint efforts. Everyone expresses their love for Changhua through song, symbolizing walking hand in hand and sharing responsibility. She hopes to convey warmth and unity to more fellow citizens.

Chen Su-yue stated that if given the opportunity to serve Changhua in the future, she will continue to promote more friendly policies for women and families, creating a living environment where childcare, employment, and caregiving are secure. Women's policies not only support women but also provide more comprehensive support for families, reducing the burden of family care.
