Fire at workshop in Yilan's Dongshan finds body of 80-year-old man

(Central News Agency, reporter Shen Ru-feng, Yilan County, July 2nd) A fire broke out at a workshop in Dongshan Township, Yilan County today. Firefighters discovered the body of an 84-year-old man at the scene. The cause of the fire is under further investigation by police and firefighters.

The Yilan County Fire Department received a report at 3:10 PM that a workshop near Xiangnan Road in Dongshan Township had caught fire for unknown reasons. Local fire brigades were dispatched with personnel and vehicles to the scene.

The Fire Department stated that the fire was brought under control at 3:35 PM. A male body was found at the scene. The deceased was identified as an 84-year-old man surnamed Zeng.
