(CNA reporter Huang Chao-wen, Taipei, July 2nd) A signal malfunction at TRA's Neili Station tonight caused traffic congestion at the Xingren Road level crossing. TRA apologized and stated that signal units were immediately dispatched for repairs, and normal train operations resumed at 7:50 PM.
TRA explained via a message that at 7:05 PM, due to the signal malfunction at Neili Station, southbound and northbound trains were temporarily stopped outside the signal machines north and south of Neili Station. This caused the level crossing to remain active, and signal units were immediately notified for handling.
