At noon, police received a report from a resident requesting medical assistance at a residence in Gukang, Jincheng Township. Firefighters arrived at the scene, assessed the situation, and forced entry. They found a solitary elderly woman lying in the living room. After examination by paramedics, the elder exhibited signs of rigor mortis and was clearly deceased. The scene was handed over to local police for subsequent autopsy and investigation.
