(CNA, reporter Hao Hsueh-ching, Taichung, July 1) The Pan-Shih Industry-Academia Research Center at the College of Management, National Chung Hsing University (NCTU), signed an agreement today with the Postpartum Care Home affiliated with Tung's General Hospital. Over the next five years, Tung's General Hospital will donate NT$5 million to support NCTU's promotion of industry-academia collaboration and talent cultivation.
The signing and donation ceremony was held at NCTU today between the Pan-Shih Industry-Academia Research Center of NCTU's College of Management and the Postpartum Care Home affiliated with Tung's General Hospital. The ceremony was presided over by NCTU President Dr. Chan Fu-chih and Chairman of Tung's General Hospital, Dr. Tung Min-che.
NCTU stated that Tung's General Hospital will donate NT$5 million over the next five years to support NCTU's promotion of industry-academia collaboration and talent cultivation, demonstrating the company's commitment to giving back to education and deepening industry-academia linkages. The two parties will combine their industry-academia collaboration energy to jointly promote digital marketing, customer journey optimization, and service innovation design, creating a new paradigm for postpartum care that combines professional medical services, warm companionship, and intelligent services.
Dr. Tang Tzu-wen, Director of NCTU's Pan-Shih Industry-Academia Research Center, said that modern mothers, when choosing a postpartum care home, not only value medical professionalism and safety but also expect to be understood, supported, and gently accompanied. This collaboration aims to help Tung's General Hospital transform its existing foundation of medical trust into a service experience with emotional warmth and brand characteristics through design thinking and digital transformation, establishing the most representative postpartum care brand in the coastal region.
