(Taipei, July 1st, CNA, London) Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic swept past Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas in straight sets in the second round of Wimbledon today, reaching the third round of Wimbledon for the 20th time in his career.

According to Agence France-Presse, Djokovic defeated Tsitsipas 6-3, 6-4, 6-2 in straight sets on Centre Court at Wimbledon.

Djokovic, 39, has won 24 Grand Slam titles in his career and is currently tied with Australian tennis legend Margaret Court for the record of 24 Grand Slam titles.

If Djokovic wins this Wimbledon, he will be the first person in history to hold 25 Grand Slam titles alone and will tie Swiss tennis legend Roger Federer for the most Wimbledon titles.

After advancing to the third round, Djokovic will next face the 25th seed, French player Arthur Rinderknech. (Compiled by Chen Cheng-chien) 1150702
