Robert Hinton Invited to CP3 Elite Guard Camp, NBA Star Curry Also Participated

(CNA reporter Chen Rong-chen Taipei, June 30) Taiwanese-American basketball player Robert Hinton has been confirmed to be selected for the CP3 Elite Guard Camp today, not only becoming the first Taiwanese to do so but also representing a recognition of his skills. Past NBA stars like Curry and Fox also participated in this training camp.

The "CP3 Elite Guard Camp," founded by retired NBA legend point guard Chris Paul, is one of the most representative invitation-only guard training camps in American basketball. Each year, it invites only a few of the nation's top high school and college guards to participate. Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry is definitely one of the representative players, and others like De'Aaron Fox and Trae Young have also participated.

Taiwanese-American basketball player Robert Hinton has been confirmed to be selected for the CP3 Elite Guard Camp today, becoming one of the 12 college athletes invited nationwide. He also sets a record as the first Taiwanese to achieve this, further representing a high level of recognition for Hinton's performance in the NCAA in recent years. He hopes to continue growing through the training camp and enhance his visibility in the American professional basketball scene.

With the NBA as his ultimate goal, Hinton was named Ivy League Rookie of the Year in his freshman season in the NCAA. Last season, after taking on more offensive responsibilities, his statistics improved across the board, even earning him a spot on the All-Ivy First Team. He recently revealed to CNA reporters that he hopes to use the summer break to refine his skills while focusing on recovery, aiming to deliver another breakthrough performance in his junior season.
