Lions' Draft Picks All High School Graduates, Manager Says Huang Jing-zhe is Key Focus

Head coach Lin Yue-ping revealed that Huang was the top choice among position players and the main focus of today's draft. The Lions selected a total of 7 players, all recent high school graduates. How to develop them into true professional players will be a test for the coaching staff.

In the CPBL draft, the Lions selected shortstop Huang Jing-zhe, a graduate of Taitung Vocational High School, in the first round. When asked if there was a long discussion, "Manager Bing" Lin Yue-ping frankly replied, "No." The top pitching prospect recommended by scouts was Chen Yu-hsun, and the top position player was Huang Jing-zhe. Being able to select Huang Jing-zhe in the first round was the biggest focus of today's draft.

Lin Yue-ping stated that although Huang Jing-zhe is not very tall, he possesses excellent explosiveness, speed, agility, and game-response ability, making him the best among this year's infielders.
