(CNA) Taiwan's stock market experienced significant volatility last week, with the main index closing at 44571.76 points on Friday, down 1893.44 points or 4.07% for the week, falling below the monthly moving average. According to Taiwan Stock Exchange statistics, foreign investors sold NT$331.237 billion in the stock market last week.
In terms of individual stocks, the top three companies sold by foreign investors last week were Innolux with 309,080 shares, Winbond Electronics with 215,341 shares, and Mega Financial Holding with 137,689 shares.
On the buying side, the top three companies bought by foreign investors last week were China Airlines with 146,593 shares, KYEC with 65,810 shares, and Taiwan Business Bank with 53,119 shares.
Additionally, from the beginning of the year to June 26, foreign investors have cumulatively sold NT$946.309 billion.
