(CNA Tehran, June 29, Comprehensive Foreign News) Iran's Foreign Ministry announced today that Iran has held its first meeting with Oman to discuss the management of the Strait of Hormuz, since Tehran and Washington signed a preliminary agreement to end the Middle East war.

According to Agence France-Presse, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi posted on social media platform X: "During a visit to Muscat, the two sides held the first meeting of the 'Joint Hormuz Committee'."
