Hualien, June 26 (CNA) — The Hualien Branch of the Forestry and Nature Conservation Agency announced this afternoon that, based on projections from the Central Weather Administration, the rainfall forecast for the next 48 hours has been revised downward to 18 millimeters.
As this figure falls below the threshold for maintaining a yellow alert, and with no criteria met for a red alert over the next two days, the agency has officially lifted the yellow alert status. Residents previously categorized as being within the protection zone are now permitted to return to their homes.
