Following heavy rainfall, the Taiwan Railways (TRA) section between Zhongzhou and Gangshan was temporarily closed in both directions this morning. TRA officials confirmed that full double-track operations have since resumed, though trains are currently operating under speed restrictions to ensure safety.

Separately, the section between Zhuzhong and Zhuzhong was suspended following a landslide at kilometer marker 11+800 between Shangyuan and Ronghua at 8:15 AM. Emergency bus shuttle services have been deployed for affected passengers.

Earlier today, the Yuanlin-Shetou section experienced single-track operations due to a track trespass incident, but resumed normal double-track service as of 8:25 AM.

Regarding overall network status, most South Link and West Coast main lines have returned to their regular schedules starting with train 107 (southbound) and 118 (northbound). Local train services, including the Shalun line, are gradually normalizing. The 'Mountain Mist' sightseeing train is canceled today, and passengers will be contacted by travel agencies regarding ticket refunds.
