Monkeys manager Tseng Hao-chu noted that Fernandez's healthy return provides stability for the team's rotation. His health will continue to be monitored as he prepares for the second half of the season. Fernandez, who had been sidelined with shoulder discomfort, threw 71 pitches in this outing. He noted after the game that he feels healthy and confident, aiming to increase his pitch count in his next appearance.
