June Electronics Futures Down, Financial Futures Up

(Taipei, June 17) The Taipei stock market closed up 68.2 points at 45,877.39 today. June electronics futures settled at 2,940.4 points, down 10.8 points, with a backwardation of 15.36 points; June financial futures closed at 3,187.8 points, up 55 points, with a backwardation of 6.14 points.

June electronics futures ended at 2,940.4 points, down 10.8 points, with 121 contracts traded. July electronics futures settled at 2,979.05 points, up 5.8 points, with 175 contracts traded.

Electronics spot closed at 2,955.76 points, down 2.7 points; compared to June electronics futures, the backwardation was 15.36 points.

June financial futures closed at 3,187.8 points, up 55 points, with 158 contracts traded. July financial futures ended at 3,169 points, up 74.2 points, with 231 contracts traded.
