Mayor Chiang led a municipal delegation of over ten officials to Singapore, participating not only in the award ceremony but also in an international urban forum. He exchanged views with mayors from various cities on policy innovations and successful urban development models.
During his stay, the delegation visited Punggol Digital District to study Singapore’s advanced smart city initiatives, aiming to apply similar digital governance strategies in Taipei. On the morning of departure, Mayor Chiang visited the Singapore National Stadium to examine how large-scale venues can drive concert-driven economic growth—a model Taipei seeks to emulate.
Mayor Chiang returned to Taiwan on China Airlines flight CI754, arriving at Taoyuan International Airport in the evening of the 17th. When asked by reporters about the outcomes of the trip, he responded positively, stating the experience was 'very good' and emphasized the value of cross-city policy learning.
