The Banqiao Police Precinct of the New Taipei City Police Department issued a press release stating that at 10:15 a.m., they received a report via the 110 emergency system about a robbery attempt at the Taishin Bank on Guanqian East Road in Banqiao District. Patrol officers from Houpou Police Station rushed to the scene and began handling the situation, while the station chief and head of the criminal investigation unit arrived to take command.
