The Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) held a board meeting today and approved the listing applications of Sunplus Innovation, Dapeng Technology, and U-Car Rental. The decisions will now be submitted to the competent regulatory authority for further review.
Sunplus Innovation, a subsidiary of major IC design firm Sunplus Technology, was spun off in 2006. The company specializes in human-machine interface (HMI) devices such as mice and keyboards, as well as image signal processing (ISP) chips. With a core focus on notebook webcam chips, it is actively expanding into AI PC applications. Its primary products involve IC designs for computer and home appliance peripherals.
Dapeng Technology focuses on the research, development, and manufacturing of wireless security and long-term care alert systems. Its core product portfolio includes home security systems, remote healthcare and nursing devices, and smart home automation systems.
U-Car Rental is a leasing brand under Ho-Tai Motor Group, Taiwan's leading automotive conglomerate. Its main businesses include passenger car and light truck rentals, as well as used vehicle distribution.
