(Central News Agency reporter Yeh Su-ping, Taipei, June 16) The Presidential Office has recently announced the updated lists of Senior Advisors (Zizheng) and National Policy Advisors. Luke Su, father of AMD CEO Lisa Su and chairman of the New York Taiwan Association, has been appointed as a new Senior Advisor to the Presidential Office. Others newly appointed include Lin Hong-dao, who has verbally resigned as chairman of the National Sports Training Center, and Wu Yun-dong, a non-resident ambassador.

According to the 'Organization Act of the Office of the President of the Republic of China,' the number of Senior Advisors must not exceed 30, and National Policy Advisors must not exceed 90. Both positions are unpaid and their terms must not extend beyond the President's term. The previous terms of Senior Advisors and National Policy Advisors ended on May 19, 2024. The updated lists have recently been published on the Presidential Office's official website.

According to the list published on the Presidential Office's official website, six new Senior Advisors have been appointed. In addition to Luke Su, they include Lin Hong-dao, Wu Yun-dong, and Wu Shu-min, chairman of the Taiwan Medical Association Foundation. Former National Policy Advisors Huang Yue-sui and Fan Chen-hsiu have been reassigned as Senior Advisors.

The list also includes 12 newly appointed National Policy Advisors: forensic expert Kao Ta-cheng, Wang Po-tien, chairman of the Lihpao Group, Yeh Cheng-yen, president of the Chinese Taipei Sports Federation, and Wu Kuang-i, president of the World Federation of Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce.

The Presidential Office's latest announcement lists 29 Senior Advisors and 71 National Policy Advisors. The full list is as follows:
