TAIPEI, June 16 (Central News Agency reporter Yeh Su-ping) — Chen Kuang-fu, the incumbent Magong County Magistrate who had already been nominated for re-election, suffered a severe head injury in February after an accidental fall and remains hospitalized. The DPP will convene its Central Campaign Committee tomorrow to recommend nominating Chen’s wife, Wu Shu-Chin, to run in his place.
