(Taipei, June 15, Central News Agency reporter Li Chien-chung) The final round of the LPGA Dow Championship concluded today, with Taiwan's Hsu Wei-ling and her German partner Aline Krauter carding two birdies and one bogey for a 69, finishing at 277 (-3) over four rounds and tied for 30th place.

The Dow Championship, first held in 2019, is one of the few team events on the LPGA Tour. This year's total prize purse was $3.3 million (approximately NT$104 million), held in Michigan, USA.

The tournament features two-player teams. The first and third rounds are played in foursomes (alternate shot), while the second and fourth rounds use four-ball format (best ball score counted per hole).

Unfortunately, the final round used the four-ball format, where the better score of the two players counts per hole—typically leading to lower scores. However, Hsu and Krauter failed to capitalize, and their 69 was the highest single-round score among all teams today.

Prior to this event, Hsu had played 12 LPGA tournaments this season, making the cut in nine. Her best result was a T28 at the April Los Angeles Championship. She currently ranks 88th on the money list and 108th in tour points.

The championship was won by the American duo Gina Kim and 19-year-old Yana Wilson, who surged with a final-round 62 to claim the title at 263 (-17) overall. (Edited by Li Shu-hua) 1150615
