(CNA, New York, 14th -综合外电) Elon Musk stated that his rocket company SpaceX, two days after its IPO and surpassing a $2 trillion market capitalization, could achieve $1 trillion in revenue by 2030.

According to Reuters, Musk replied on his social media platform X to journalist and financial commentator Jon Erlichman, writing, "I would be surprised if revenue does not exceed $1 trillion by 2031."

SpaceX went public on the 12th, instantly becoming the sixth-largest company in the U.S., solidifying Musk's status as the world's first trillionaire.

However, SpaceX's revenue remains far below that of tech giants like Broadcom and Amazon.com, which have comparable valuations.

In 2025, SpaceX's revenue surged from $14.02 billion the previous year to $18.67 billion, but it swung from a net profit of $791 million to a net loss of $4.94 billion.

Some Wall Street analysts remain cautious about SpaceX's growth trajectory.

As reported earlier this month by the Wall Street Journal, Goldman Sachs had projected SpaceX's 2030 revenue to exceed $470 billion, while Morgan Stanley estimated it would reach nearly $330 billion. (Compiled by: Liu Shuqin) 1150615
