(Taiwan News Reporter Wu Jui-chi, Taoyuan Airport, June 16) Kuomintang (KMT) Chairperson Cheng Li-chun concluded her visit to the United States and returned to Taiwan early this morning. She made no public statement, and when asked by reporters whether she would brief on the outcomes of her trip, she did not respond. She simply greeted the waiting press with 'Good morning, thank you all, thank you,' before leaving the airport via the Global Business Center concierge service.

Cheng Li-chun and members of her U.S. delegation returned to Taiwan early this morning from the United States. The China Airlines flight CI23 she boarded arrived at Taoyuan International Airport at 5:10 a.m.

At Taoyuan Airport, Cheng did not deliver any remarks or hold a press briefing. When asked by the media if she would comment on the results of her visit, she offered no response, merely saying 'Good morning, thank you all, thank you,' before proceeding through customs via the Global Business Center service and departing the airport.

Cheng departed for the United States on June 1 for a two-week visit. She first arrived on the West Coast in San Francisco to begin her tour, then traveled to Boston, New York, and Washington, D.C. on the East Coast for exchanges with U.S. political figures and think tanks.
