Ticket sales for the Taipei Film Festival have begun, with Hong Kong film "We Are Not What" and Taiwan-Japan co-production "You, the Rat-Like" already sold out. Additionally, a special outdoor screening of "Cape No. 7" will be held on June 21 at the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, where director Wei Te-sheng will join fans in reliving the classic.
According to data provided by the Taipei Film Festival, only limited tickets remain for titles such as the series "Smart Town" (Episodes 1-2), films "I Blow Out the Candle Before Making a Wish," "Persepolis," "Rose Twin," "Little Foreigner," "Dead Leaves," "Riding Against the Wind," "The Useless," "Red Is the Color of Memory," and "Us, the Unwelcome."
The Taipei Film Festival, in collaboration with the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, has jointly planned an 18th-anniversary outdoor screening of "Cape No. 7" on June 21, inviting director Wei Te-sheng and actress "Da Da" An Yi-jo to watch the film with fans. Additionally, a program unit titled "PTS Kids X Fubon Cultural & Educational Foundation Children's Short Film Collection" will be co-hosted with PTS Kids.
The 28th Taipei Film Festival will kick off on June 26 and conclude with the awards ceremony on July 11 at Zhongshan Hall, broadcast live by CTS. It will also be simultaneously streamed via OTT platforms including Chunghwa Telecom MOD, Hami Video, Four Seasons Online, ELTA OTT, LiTV, ofiii, as well as overseas via Dish Network and the official Taipei Film Festival YouTube channel.
