Central News Agency Report

(Central News Agency reporter Wang Hung-kuo, Lienchiang County, June 15) Tsao Er-yuan, who previously lost the 111th Lienchiang County magistrate election, has decided to run again against incumbent county magistrate Wang Chung-ming. He announced his candidacy today via a Facebook post: "Answering the people's call, lighting a flame, and charging once more for Matsu."

In his Facebook post, Tsao stated that four years ago, he campaigned under the slogan "Innovate and Change, Matsu for All," and was supported by over 40 percent of local residents. "One vote, a lifetime of gratitude—this reflects the deep expectations of the people for Matsu's reform and progress, and it is also a constant motivation for me," he said.

He claimed that the previous election resulted in the wrong leader being chosen, causing regional development projects to stall and fall into chaos. "Because we elected the wrong leader, Matsu's future has been delayed and squandered. Only through reform and change can we create a new path forward," he emphasized. Therefore, he officially announced his candidacy for the Lienchiang County Magistrate election. (Editor: Li Shu-hua) 1150615
