He explained 'Secure our foundation' as employees striving every day to contribute to technology, industry, customers, the ecosystem, and society.
'Deepen roots in Taiwan,' Lee said, involves advancing ESG and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, community service, and educational outreach through a foundation-run summer camp, now in its fourth year, nurturing talent from an early age.
'Advance the industry,' he noted, highlights Synopsys Taiwan's pivotal role in the ecosystem. 'Empower customers' means not only supporting customer success but becoming an integral part of it.
Chairman Lee signed the strategic agreement with ITRI Senior Expert Wu Chih-Yi. The collaboration will explore opportunities in semiconductor technology, silicon photonics, quantum computing, AI-assisted design and multi-physics simulation, robotics, and physical AI technologies.
Deputy Minister Ho stated that Taiwan aims to become Asia's AI R&D hub, with many semiconductor firms establishing R&D centers locally. He emphasized the need for government-industry collaboration to strengthen the semiconductor ecosystem and expressed hope that Synopsys will cultivate more software talent in Taiwan.
Following the agreement, Ho期待 the launch of a new phase of the A+ Program, bringing further development opportunities to Taiwan's semiconductor and software industries. (Edited by Yang Kai-Xiang) 1150615
