Celebrating Police Day: Taichung's Volunteer Team Delivers Warmth to Officers at Second Precinct

Today marks Police Day. On the eve of the celebration, the volunteer team from the Wenzheng Police Station of Taichung City Police Department's Second Precinct prepared a hearty meal and delivered it to the station to express gratitude and boost morale among officers for their ongoing dedication to maintaining local public safety and traffic order.

As a special day dedicated to law enforcement, Police Day was commemorated early when the Wenzheng Police Station volunteer team delivered food and beverages to officers on duty. This act of kindness brought warmth to officers who are often busy with patrols, especially during a rainy night.

The volunteer team emphasized that police officers work tirelessly every day, frequently sacrificing time with their families to remain steadfast in their duties. With Police Day approaching, they hoped that providing delicious food and care packages would uplift officers’ spirits and express appreciation for their long-term contributions to local security and traffic management.

Lin Cheng-ya, Chief of Wenzheng Police Station, stated that the smooth operation of police work relies not only on officers’ dedication but also on the continuous support of volunteer partners and community residents.
