(Washington, 15th - CNA international news) After both the United States and Iran confirmed a preliminary peace agreement yesterday, former U.S. President Donald Trump stated today that oil tankers are beginning to leave the Strait of Hormuz, reportedly traveling along a southern route near Oman, located at the southeastern tip of the Arabian Peninsula.

According to AFP, Trump posted on his social media platform 'Truth Social,' saying: 'Ships are beginning to move out of the Strait of Hormuz, many of them carrying oil.'
