(Central News Agency reporter Hsieh Yi-hsuan, Taipei, April 15) According to statistics from the Water Resources Agency, from April 4 to 3:00 PM on April 15, Taiwan's major reservoirs are expected to receive approximately 620 million tons of water, with about 480 million tons already stored. As of 6:00 PM today, Zengwen Reservoir's storage rate has exceeded 30%.
Data from the Water Resources Agency's official website shows that, as of 6:00 PM today, Baoshan Reservoir reached 100% capacity, while Baoshan Second Reservoir, Yongfengshan Reservoir, Techi Reservoir, and Shihmen Reservoir all exceeded 90% storage. Additionally, Wushantou Reservoir stands at 55.99%, Zengwen Reservoir at 31.85%, and Nanhua Reservoir at 68.82%.
According to the Water Resources Agency, from 7:00 AM on April 4 to 3:00 PM on April 15, this rainfall event is expected to supply approximately 620 million tons of water to major reservoirs across Taiwan. Specifically, the Zengwen and Wushantou reservoir system is projected to receive about 180 million tons, Shihmen Reservoir 80.2 million tons, and Nanhua Reservoir approximately 83.6 million tons.
