Recently, during their concert in Hong Kong, lead singer Wang's response to fans chanting 'Sing until you're 80!' sparked backlash from Mayday fans. In response, Wang has apologized, stating he will 'mind his own mouth' both in singing and speaking.

Ice Hockey Band recently performed in Hong Kong. During the concert, fans shouted 'Sing until you're 80!' to which lead singer Wang replied, 'Does that mean you'll keep buying tickets until you're 80? It sounds like we won't age and will keep performing forever—sounds like another band's slogan, doesn't it?' He then added, 'And I actually sing,' a comment that upset some Mayday fans.

In response, Ice Hockey Band issued a statement through their record company: 'Hello, this is Wang. I sincerely apologize for the discomfort and confusion my on-stage remarks yesterday have caused. I deeply regret my immaturity and recklessness, and I offer my deepest apologies for the hurt caused. From now on, I will strive to mind my words, whether in singing or speaking.'
